  2. I don't think is anything new.
It's pretty well-known Lennon screwed around and was a shitty father.
The stuff with Yoko is certainly, um, strange, but I can't say it's not surprising.

So Yoko, who slept with John when he was married, is still scarred by the fact he slept around on her. Oh, and it wasn't her fault that John brought her to all of the band practices. She was forced.

So let's all feel sorry for Yoko.

Don't know about this, but his solo material is overrated crap.

  5. Are you including "Imagine?"

...but still far, far better than McCartney's.

    Right on, heyabbott.

"Band on the Run" is a fantastic song. Hell, I'd rather listen to Wings than 90 percent of Lennon's solo work.

I don't even totally agree with the sentiment, but I laughed just the same.

I think anything after, say, Mind Games, was crap for the most part. Especially anything recorded around the time of his long weekend or whatever the hell the media called his split from Yoko.

So Yoko contributed to the book and now, she says it's "too mean." That raises some red flags to me about how maybe, the author embellished a little bit.

I was shocked to see Yoko participated. I figured for sure this would be one of those bios where nobody connected to the subject would participate but would badmouth the project at every opportunity.
