    NBA Coach of the month for November. Gone in December. Was mentioned in running thread, but 21 deserves to have her year end on a good note and to have this as its own thread.

    Woj tweeted it and said PJ Carlesimo will be interim coach.

    How good could the Nets be? Should be better than .500 but not sure what their potential is.

    Would Phil be interested? Would a mad Russian want Phil?

    True, although I think at any level of coaching basketball, you can't be successful unless the coach and the best player are in sync. Heck, I've felt that coaching kids, tweens and teens. Every kid knows who the best player is, and they follow his example -- for better or worse. Or, they get frustrated by what an idiot he (or she) is, and it's hard to get them motivated.

    Of course, a third-grader can't get you fired from a volunteer position. Not usually.
