Miss L and I are looking for a new TV series to work through on Netflix. So far we've watched all we can of the following:

    Dexter
    Breaking Bad
    True Blood
    Californication
    Sopranos
    The Wire
    The Walking Dead
    Weeds

We tried Flight of the Conchords and found it lacking. Miss L wasn't a fan of The Wire and grew tired of Weeds and Californication. We fell in love with True Blood, although the second season kind of sucked compared with the first and third seasons.

We're stuck waiting on future seasons on Netflix because we just have basic cable and aren't about to spend $100-plus for TV and premium channels.

Well, I was thinking cable series for the nudity and profanity (two of my favorite "ity" words). I watched FNL off and on, and Miss L sort of followed Mad Men when we had expanded cable a year ago.

Deadwood isn't lacking for profanity. Every other word is cocksucker.

Very much so. I am overdue for another run through of The Shield.

let me add a few more Dramas I didn't mention in my earlier post. All of them are or were broadcast originally on F/X:

    *Justified
    *The Riches
    *Terriers
    *Thief

    Two that haven't been mentioned:

    How I Met Your Mother
    Sports Night

Both are on instant viewing on Netflix, too.

Devil, it's probably DVD, since some of the HBO ones mentioned here (The Wire, Sopranos) aren't available on Netflix instant viewing.
