New to netflix and have a question on how queue works. Does a program with 3 DVD's get shipped one at a time or all 3 together?

For example Generation Kill has 3 DVD's

Yep, we just joined and wondered the same thing. You'll get them one at a time.

Yeah, we take our days one film at a time.

Depends on how many you can have out at a time, too.

But for something like Gone With the Wind - if you were inclined to put it on your list - the actual movie is on two discs and you get both at the same time.

I thought TV series were one disc at a time and movies that were more than one disc were all of them?

Except for "extras" discs for TV series. Only did one TV series, and the bonus disc came with the last installment. Don't know if that's normal.

If they're listed in the inventory separately, and you have to load them in the queue separately, then they will be shipped separately. And you cannot guarantee that they will arrive in order, depending on how many discs you have out at a time and how popular a title it is.
