Need very obscure help from old-school Isaac Hayes fans

I've got a line of music going through my head. I know damn well it's from a song I used to hear on the radio, but the tubes are no help. I'm 99.9999999 percent certain it's by Isaac Hayes.

The line I'm hearing is "I don't know, but I've been told by a [garbled], 64,000 weeping husbands been calling me Ike the Ripper."

Ike the Ripper was one of his nicknames, of course. Anyway, the only thing even close to it that comes up in a lyric search is "Good Love," and it doesn't have the "64,000 weeping husbands" line. (I'm pathetic at downloading music, so I can't listen to it to see if it's the same song; but it's the lyrics I'm after anyway.)

Was I mishearing it all this time?

I have Hot Buttered Soul, Shaft and a few singles, but that doesn't ring a bell.

You might be mishearing it. Nothing comes up when you Google "64,000 husbands Isaac Hayes".

What are some of the other lines?

Yeah, I googled it all ways to Sunday.

The only other thing I remember is what the weeping husbands were saying: "They say I'm spreadin' the heartache, and all kinds of......" and then the misty water-colored memories fade.

What comes before or after this line, I can't recall at all. But Christ, I know I heard "Ike the Ripper" in it. Google no help there either.

Hayes was Ike the Ripper right? But those lyrics ring absolutely no bell for me.

@SportsJournalists.com: Just sat down to lunch in Beaumont. This brings us to the third qestion:

When you're traveling, do you prefer to get a local flavor (going to a local resturaunt) or eat at the chains, that you know will be good/mediocre/edible?

It's awesome that you actually post better while driving than you do sitting down at a table.

By the way, googling " 'weeping husbands' lyrics" gets you a link to "huge dildo porn."

Rumple started a thread about a road trip he is currently undertaking in Texas. He is actually "tweeting" and "blogging" while driving. Which he is getting shit about on the other thread. He meant to post that restaurant query over there...

Nevermind my post in this thread. I opened it because I thought it was mine. Silly Blackberry.

Ifil, an Isaac Hayes song just played on my mix. I'm trying to think if I'd know yours.
