Need stringers already in San Marcos/SA/Austin area

The award-winning San Marcos Daily Record sports staff is looking for part-time sports writers/stringers to help with coverage of the local sports scene on a contract basis. This includes covering high school football, volleyball, basketball, baseball and softball as well as a number of collegiate sports at Texas State University. Experience is preferred, but will work with those who can learn quickly, meet deadlines and display the desire and determination to write accurate and interesting stories.
