At Longwood, I hear they don't make the tourney, but they make a mean ham sandwich.

Even though they made the field, there were several seasons where you could question if Arizona or DePaul played in the NCAA tourney...

 

Before last season, you could have added Florida to that list.

 

Yeah, because the Gators' appearance in the title game earlier this decade means nothing, apparently.

 

Arkansas-Pine Bluff has never been, I know.

In fact, I don't know if they've even won a SWAC tournament game.

 

The State University of New York at Buffalo has never played in the NCAA Division I tournament. Came close two years ago.

According to the NCAA record book, 295 teams have made the tournament, but that includes some former D-I teams like West Texas A&M, Trinity and Wayne State. Here's the link to the PDF of the record book (tournament stuff starts on page 182) ...
