Need baseball cap help

Ask John Villarreal on his McGwire thread. Stretching things appears to be one of his many talents.

It's too long a story, but you're better off just getting a hat that fits.

 

If you can get yourself to a western store (or online one), they sell wooden cap stretchers. You stick the thing inside your cap, and then crank it like a reverse vise, and it gradually stretches to fit. I've considered getting one for the four out of five caps that end up being smaller than their size says.

 

Cut your hair.

 

Ask Jason Kidd's son to wear your hat for a while.

I did what they suggest with a too-small, New Era Jays cap and it worked.

 

Two words: Siz zors.

 

Ask Bruce Bochy to wear it for a few days.

 

That made me snicker.
