Need advice on Santa Fe area

Discussion in 'Anything goes' started by AndTheCrowdGoesBoo, Jun 15, 2010.

  1. I'm going to be in Santa Fe on my anniversary and somehow got put in charge with planning a run/romantic day. Any advice on fun activities and/or romantic places in that area?

    Thanks

Run to Roswell and see if you can find the martians.

Room service and a do-not-disturb sign would be your only hope, I'm guessing.

Great area. Lots to tour downtown. Art galleries and such. The performing arts in the city are great, including the Santa Fe opera. I'm no opera guy, but there's a quasi-outdoor center that is just amazing.

Blue Corn Cafe serves up some good microbrews. Hit Taos, walk/run around a bit. Check out the state capitol. Hit the Georgia O'Keefe gallery.

And stop by the paper... they may be hiring.

  7. Eat lunch at a place called The Shed in downtown Santa Fe. Reasonably priced, awesome food.
