Nearly half of young black men in Chicago out of work, out of school

There are so many Dicks on this board, its hard to keep track.

 

There should be free, public education for all of CHicago's children, including, but not limited to minority students. Transportation should be provided to those who live too far from a school. Every child, regardless of ability to pay, should be allowed to attend from age 5 through age 18. Free or reduced price breakfast and lunch should be provided as well as after school activities.

 

In other words, these 20- to 24-year-old men simply have not taken advantage of the opportunities granted to them in Chicago?

 

Need a few more Dunkin Donuts franchises up there. Or is that Chick Fil-A?

Don't blame the victim, blame the victims' parents, or in this case, single parent, working 3 jobs, supporting 5 children by 4 different men. IF only the minimum wage would be able to support a family of 5, with medical benefits and paid leave to go to back to school night.

Why is the problem worse in Chicago than elsewhere?

 

It's not that kids are coming out of the womb dumber now, it's that they're coming out of the wombs to much dumber parents.

As I once noted, we used to teach Latin in high school, now we teach remedial English in college.

 

Wouldn't those dumb parents be the ones who learned Latin in high school?

Inner city residents who live in Baltimore, Cleveland, Detroit and Philly go to CHicago for vacation because it's so safe, relatively speaking.
Chicago is where Obama was a community activist so the mass mainstream media, who believes they made Obama and are pissed he's so dismissive of their superiority, are just highlighting CHicago to embarrass Obama and CHicago's Jew Mayor.
