    I think they could still be one of the honorable mentions. You still have to win 6 games, against good competition, to win it all. Yes, I'm a fanboi.

    That Syracuse team was the lowest seeded team to win the NC this decade. If you weren't at least a 1 or 2 seed, you don't belong in this discussion.

    I think the best team I saw this decade was one that didn't win the national championship--the 05 Illini crew--loved watching that team play.

    Speaking of great backcourts - Williams, Brown and Head were fun to watch. They just didn't have the combination of size and talent down low to make a run in the second half at that UNC team.
