We're a small chain of weeklies with two swimmers - Florida's Elizabeth Beisel, who was an Olympian in 2008; and Texas' Laura Sogar, who qualified for the Trials in 2008 - headed to the NCAAs (and they're from neighboring towns).
Need a small feature (600-700 words) on Sogar and a larger one on Beisel on their performances in the meet and so far at the college/world level.
Like I said, we're small, so we don't have a huge amount of money to spend on freelancers. This is a gig for someone who's going to be there and wants to pick up some extra cash. No deadline pressure - wouldn't need the story until the following Tuesday afternoon.
If there is a photog around, we'd love to get some shots as well.
    PM, please.
