I was a bench warmer in those days -- always was, actually.

I grew from 5-7 then to 6-4 by my senior season but still rarely left the bench.

I peaked in my mid 30s, to be honest.

    Could be four lines:
    - High School
    - Women's College (staying put)
    - Men's College (at the new distance)
    - NBA

Thanks to whichever moderator merged the two threads. Why the originator of a second thread on a subject can't delete his or her thread once the d_b is pointed out is hard to understand.

Oh, I could, I just didn't think to do it.

On the things-that-are-wrong-with-the-world scale, two similar threads on a message board didn't rank real high on my list of things to worry about.

Is anyone concerned that scoring will drop dramatically, and that postseason upsets could widely be curtailed by this move?

Maybe it'll end the fucking games of horse being played in the first two rounds. Fucking piece of shit mid major schools tossing up three pointers like they're fucking layups...... :D

A perfectly valid retort, from a BCS conference's fan perspective. [/not sarcasm]

It may decrease at first, but in a few years teams will adjust. Remember when Pitino took Providence to the Final Four. Everyone said he was ahead of the curve at incorporating the 3 pointer into his offense. But others started to copy it and now every team takes lots of 3s. They adjusted to the old line, and they'll adjust to the new line, but it may take a few years. We could see fewer mid-majors pull upsets during the adjustment period, however long it is.
