These two teams deserve each other.

Wow, I just read that link about Patterson, and all I have to say is: WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!

What an oversensitive whiner. I had no idea he was that big a crybaby.

My favorite part is where he says, "He hasn't changed much either, so if we want to get into those kinds of matches. But I don't go there."

Ummmm, you just did go there.

Take your ball and go home, Gary.

A Big 8/12 coach could have said the same thing about Nebraska from 1971 until Bill Callahan showed up. Nebraska ran the same six plays for about 35 years and still kicked the shit out of people on a regular basis.

What Jones said wasn't necessarily a cheap shot.

Garrett Gilbert to transfer from Texas, and was apparently spotted at SMU practice today:

My heart says Mizzou is still the class of what once was the Big 12 North. Now it's time to prove it.

Boring slate of games in both college and pros.

How the blue hell is Arkansas a 10-point favorite, as per the last Vegas line I saw?

That game seems ripe for some money making, for the gambling types.

I used to love covering the MU-KSU game...both teams were dreck, but Mizzou was just a little better so it usually meant a win, but most importantly, the Kansas Cattle Ranchers Association would sponsor the game, and we'd get free, fantastic steaks in the pressbox. I can still taste them, and I have the hat they gave us as well.

When you're 19, nothing tastes better than free steak.

The Bruins will officially be in ruins and Neweasal's seat will be scorching hot after a home loss to the Cougs on Saturday. At least, that's my prediction.
I also predict it will be Bear hunting season tonight in Oregon.
