Kid from BC missed a point-blank chip shot FG attempt in final seconds. BC did try to score a touchdown, though. Wasn't an attempt to run out the clock and score on the last play.

Worse, it's not like Turner Gill has never seen Paul Johnson's offense. And the Jackets don't have a Mike Rozier, Irving Fryar ... or a Turner Gill, for that matter.

Auburn-Clemson was compelling, just to see Auburn finally lose. Otherwise, I am getting quite impatient for the big one tonight.

Actually, Nebraska-Washington is looking interesting right now. Wow.

All the TV games have sucked so far today. The afternoon is filled with blowouts. Hopefully tonight is a repeat of last year.

Amazing how little activity there's been on this tread so far today -- though not exactly shocking considering how poor the games have been.

REALLY wish Wisconsin would play someone real in the non-conference schedule. It's been a boring 3 weeks as a Badger fan (though, I don't know when Wisconsin scheduled Oregon State. Might have looked like a competent team at the time. But, it was still dullsville in reality).

Also, Ohio State offense looks awful, so far.

According to ESPN, Oklahoma's leading rusher at the half is Landry Jones ... with 1 yard.

Pretty simple w/ tOSU. No QB. That's 99.9% of the issue.

Decent O-Line (even missing Adams, an NFL caliber tackle, one of the Tat 5), deep RB's (even missing Herron), a boatload of frosh WR's. Unfortunately, this was supposed to be Pryor's Sr. year, while allowing Braxton Miller (frosh) gain some experience to take over NEXT year. Bauserman is terrible. No one ever thought he'd have to see the field.

It's a 38 year old (seemingly) Joe Bauserman, in his 3rd game....vs. a senior starter in Jacory Harris. On the road. The tat 5 have finally caught up with the Buckeye season. No contest.

Having said that, Fickell is in a tough situation. Does he play the "mature" Bauserman (unlikely to turn the ball over, or make the big mistake), or just take flyer on Miller, who is the future? He's a lame duck, who's hoping to pull a miracle out of his *ss & keep the job long term.

WOW. With 2 minutes to go, Fickell essentially waves the white flag, never tries to stop the clock while his D is trying to put on a goal line stand, down by 11. Golden has a sh*t eating grin on his face a mile wide & calls the time out instead. Punches it right up the Buckeyes *ss & into the end zone.

It's a little thing...and tOSU realistically had NO chance of winning the game. The looks on the coaches faces tell the entire story, though, & drive home why Fickell won't be on the Buckeye sideline next year.

Wow, Florida State about to tie it up. On a 56-yard touchdown pass. On third-and-28.
