    and nebraska, a one seed, goes 2 and bbq after losing to 'Frisco, 5-1.

    the tigers are in the bottom of the 13th (they're the visitors) in an elimination game against the anteaters

    Wouldn't it be, say, two and porterhouse in that part of the world? ;)
    By the way, tremendous home-field choke by the Huskers.
    And Texas lost to Stanford, too.... they're in the losers' bracket of their regional.
    Throw in Oklahoma's opening-game loss and it's been a GREAT tournament for the Big 12.

    However, Mizzou did win in 14, so they've got that going for them.

    Didn't Notre Dame bitch about something before the tournament started, a low seed maybe? My basketball theory applies to baseball, too. Bitch and you're done.

    On a happier note (MSU was at one time 18-0 and rated No. 1 in the nation) Mississippi State (36-22) staved off a lots-of-men-on-base comeback in the ninth inning by NC-Asheville to win 5-4 and stay alive at Clemson :D
