    Job Description:
    Responsibilities
    - Reports to the Newsdesk Editor, NBCSports.com.
    - Handle presentation of breaking news, feature stories and multi-media projects for NBCSports.com.
    - Build compelling photo slideshows that can be used in conjunction with interactive features, including message boards and surveys.
    - Monitor wires for breaking news and build stories using content management tool.
    - Write original and witty headlines, text callouts and photo captions.
    - Maintain sound news judgment in prioritizing stories.
    - Produce interactive content utilizing photos, video, audio and graphics.

    Qualifications
    - Minimum 2 years experience in sports editorial environments
    - Minimum 1 year of Internet experience.

    Desired
    - Working knowledge of all sports and expertise in select sports.
    - Familiarity with AP style and the ability to create clean copy.
    - Ability to work efficiently under pressure, meet deadlines, and multi-task

    General
    - Based in Stamford, CT
    - Position includes night and/or weekend hours

    I think there have been several different openings, both at NBCSports.com and NBCOlympics.com.

    If there's anyone with firsthand experience at one of those sites, feel free to share -- or PM me, because I'm particularly interested in any gig that might send me to the Olympics.

    Stamford hasn't been the same since they closed the Dunder-Mifflin branch.
