    If Gus had been in the booth in 1980 for the US/USSR hockey game, all you would have heard was *SPLAT* from his head exploding.
    Sorry, may he never be allowed at an Olympics.
    For that matter, he sucks at NFL and NCAA.

    Not sure if he's focusing on beach or indoors, but volleyball is pretty solid with Chris Marlowe at the mike. On beach, Mike Dodd is very good, too.

    When I went to go pick up some carry-out the other night, I noticed he was doing MMA on CBS. If I gave two shits about MMA, I'd worry about whether he was any good at it or not.

    Is it me or does the quality of announcers decrease as the profile of the sport increases? John Tesh on gymnastics is just dumb. Then again, I don't think NBC is going after me as a gymnastics viewer.

    Tesh hasn't done gymnastics for NBC since 1996.
    Tom Hammonds is very good at it.

    God, I sucked on 2 levels there.
    It is Tom Hammond.
    Also, you are right, he's track where Al Trautwig is gymnastics.
