Side note: If my company didn't require legal approval or before going live, we could go from concepting a commercial, to casting, to shooting to finishing in less than a month. And that's for a polished commercial that requires hiring talent, finishing studios, etc. If we were using B-Roll and music we already owned or was royalty free, we could do it no time.

Jerry West. John Havlicek. Rick Barry. Bill Walton. Larry Bird. Pete Maravich. George Mikan. Naw, we wouldn't understand.

If we're gonna bring back any music, it's gotta be this:

To get to the point: Image is everything.

    Or, perception matters.

It's a nice sentiment, but it was unnecessary to trumpet it in such a self-aggrandizing manner.

That's a weird song. Sounds like a bubblegummed up Gordon Lightfoot as backed by a middling Rare Earth cover band.

I think the NBA theme song you enjoy is a direct correlation to when you grew up. I never liked the NBC theme because, well, it wasn't this. Children of the 80s, I am one, prefer the CBS theme song ...

And yet you can't name a single player from today.

    Shocking.

Yeah, same here. People seem to take a liking to whatever they grew up with.
