Sources are that the Pacers have signed Paul George to a max money contract extension.

Is he worth max money? Or, the Pacers were forced to pay him that type of in risk of losing him?

You know, she was a pretty damn good athlete in her own right and her brother went to training camp with the Carolina Panthers, so maybe it's having something in common that attracts her to these guys.

Bucks new court a much-less-colorful version of the old MECCA court.

Vegas gives the Wizards an over/under of 42. The Lakers? 33.5.

    Yikes.

I'll put 50 on the Lakers over on merit alone.

I probably will, too. Once I do, though, Kobe will suffer a setback and the Lakers will win 20 games.

That number does seem a little low to me, but yeah, I think the only way the Lakers surpass it is if Kobe plays all 82 games. Last year, they went 45-37, and for all of his faults (perceived or real), they've replaced Dwight Howard with Chris Kaman. IIRC, they're also capped out when it comes to salary, so their only option there would be to do a Knicks-style trade of a short-term bad contract for a long-term bad contract.
