    THAT was funny, Chuck.

Of course, if the Cubs were worth a shit, Wilbon would love talkin' baseball.

In all honesty, I don't want to shit on the NBA Finals thread.

I'll be pulling for the Cavs, but say Spurs in five.

    Spurs in six.

And the 76ers' one win in the 2001 Finals (overtime in Game 1) was the Lakers' only postseason loss that year. 15-1.

At least the series might get a decent number ratings-wise.

Cavs in six, just because I'm always a sucker for underdogs.

Somewhere, David Stern is smiling. Without LeBron in the Finals, ratings are shit. Even with LeBron, ratings will stink. Just not as bad.

No one can stop LeBron. No one can stop Duncan. That said, I got Spurs in six. I wouldn't be totally surprised to see the Cavs win in seven, though. Honestly, I'm not sure what to expect, but I'll definitely be watching.

Even when the Jayhawks fall to them . . .again and again?

KU just made the Elite Eight this past season. They didn't lose to an underdog, though. They lost to a No. 2 seed in name only, which just so happened play the regional final in its home state for a second straight season. So much for perks going to No. 1 seeds.

    Anyway ...

  10. God, another three weeks of Popovich love and how-they-do-it-the-right-way?
    Go Cavs.

I won't shit on the finals thread, but just give the Spurs the trophy now so the NBA can go to bed for a few months.

As for Flip? No shit. Something has to change there. Pistons aren't off the tracks all the way, but it's clear something isn't working.
