God, I hate overzealous, masturbatory, loudmouth NBA arena PA announcers.

Understated is the way to go. Treat your crowd like they're stupid, and they'll be stupid.

Doesn't matter whose on the team. The Suns see a Spurs uniform, they start gagging.

Agreed, this Spurs guy is really REALLY bad.

Good God what a shot from Nash ... doesn't matter though as ginobili goes RIGHT to the basket uncontested for the 49th time in overtime.

I thought it was pretty good defense, just a great shot by Ginobili.

Well I know he's tough to defend and all, but come on ... you've got to cut him off one of those times. He got to the rim at will two or three times there down the stretch.
Either way ... great game, should be an awesome series.

Imagine covering them for 41 home games.

    Hornets making a run. It's now 65-63.

That shot by Kidd shouldn't count.

It's not like it was his first made 3-pointer of the season or anything. Oh, wait...

Is there ever a moment at an NBA game where there's not something coming out of the loudspeakers? Even watching at home, I had the game on mute.

I was heartbroken, not just because the Spurs won, but because of how they won. I don't want to see the Spurs in another NBA Finals, nor the Pistons, nor the Lakers. I loved the Heat-Mavs finals because it was two unfamiliar teams on that stage.

Hey Oz ... be quiet. You got an NCAA title recently. Let me have some fun, too!! [/Lakers fan] :)
