NBA '08 Playoff Thread

First round predicitions:
East
Hawks vs. Celtics (Celtics in 4)
76ers vs. Pistons (Pistons in 6)
Raptors vs. Magic (Magic in 5)
Wizards vs. Cavs (Cavs in 5)

West
Nuggets vs. Lakers (Lakers in 5)
Mavericks vs. Hornets (Hornets in 6)
Suns vs. Spurs (Suns in 7)
Rockets vs. Jazz (Jazz in 7)

MVP:
1. Chris Paul
2. Kobe Bryant
3. LeBron James

ROY: Kevin Durant, Sonics
COY: Byron Scott, Hornets

1. The fact that he's playing with absolute scrubs (besides Big Z, who has a good season. Tons of roster turnover amd Gibson is merely a one-dimensional three-point shooter)
2. His incredible stats: Shooting 48%, averaging 30 points per game, 8 rebounds, 7 assists, 2 steals, and a block. And he's been playing harder and improving on the defensive side of the ball as well.

Without him this season, the Cavs were 0-6. They would be a lottery team instead of a no. 4 seed.

So, by that logic then you agree then that Kobe Bryant should've won MVP the two previous seasons, right?

Pretty entertaining first half between the Cavs and Wizards as they are tied 46-46 at the break.
Arenas doesn't look like he's close to 100 percent, but his shooting looks great. A little squirmish between LeBron, Haywood and Jamison at the end of the half got everyone in the arena all hot and bothered, but it looked like much ado about nothing.
