    Hello all,
I'm a former Arkansas Democrat-Gazette reporter-turned-freelance sportswriter who will be attending the Naismith Hall of Fame ceremonies this Thursday through Saturday. I won a national award for feature writing as a reporter and covered the FIBA World Championships in Turkey in 2010. There, I wrote for the Memphis Commercial Appeal, the Associated Press, Chicago Sun Times and USA Basketball. I have more recently written for the likes of the Daily Beast, SLAM, SB Nation Longform and the New York Times.
