Don't want to thread-jack, but many, many, many years ago, almost in a previous life, I wrote a Tim Richmond piece, when he was an up-and-coming young driver. Man, that dude could race. What a shame. There's probably at least a Lifetime Channel movie in there somewhere.

 

Tim Richmond was a racer. Back about 10 years ago one of his former girlfriends went public with her health problems. Sad, sad story.

Truck racing is more entertaining than Cup.

At least two of Richmond's lovers, LaGena Lookabill Greene and former Miss Winston, Karen Beasley, died of AIDS. Lord only knows how many others, too.
