This deserves a separate post from the running NASCAR thread.

My first instinct was "Are they just finding this out about Tim Richmond now?"

What type of world do we live in where you can't take heroin and race pickup trucks?

They have to make turning left 250 times exciting.

250? A 500-lap race has 2000 turns. Each car. Whee.

This is just downright scary. The speed that these vehicles are traveling, the precision with which the drivers need to operate said vehicles and the alertness that these drivers display make any kind of inhibition a life-threatening matter.

Does anybody actually pay attention to truck racing?

Yeah, I meant turning left for 250 laps or so. Whatever. As long as they aren't hurting anyone.

Not as much, but they should. Better racing.

Do they have their gun racks and a case of Miller Lite in the back of the truck when they're racing?

    No. But the fans do!
