Brad Johnson's no John Elway, but he did win a Super Bowl. Half the teams in the league, if not more, have worse QBs than Brad Johnson.

I was reading this thread and didn't realize how long ago it was started, so when I saw all the Cleveland division winner picks I thought it was a joke. Then I saw the dates, and now I'm wondering (hoping) were those predictions a joke at the time?

    NFC: NYG, Atlanta, Chicago, Seattle
    Carolina, St. Louis

AFC: New England, Indy, Cincy, San Diego
Pittsburgh, Baltimore (just noses out Jax, maybe in a tiebreaker).

That AFC is looking awfully tough to call right now. Hell, as bad as the AFC East teams are, I'm not even sure the Pats are a lock, not after the way they've looked winning their first two games. It'll be hard to be consistently successful if they keep playing games like that.

That's how the Pats are every year. They rarely win easy or pretty. They definitely have some big question marks, but I don't think the manner in which they've won the two games is very telling.

    AFC
    east- patriots- weak division
north- bengals- one of the best teams in the league
south- jags- will make the leap this year if fred taylor stays healthy
west- chargers- one of the most complete teams in the league
    wildcards- colts and ravens

    NFC
east- eagles- would be 2-0 if they didnt relax in the 4th quarter in week 2. have dominated 7 of 8 quarters so far.
north- bears- such a great defense
south- panthers- will rebound enough to win division; not much else
    west- seahawks- division sucks
    wildcards- vikings and giants

    wildcard round: panthers over vikings
    eagles over giants
    colts over patriots
    jags over ravens

    divisional: bears over panthers
    eagles over seahawks
    bengals over colts
    chargers over jags

    conf. champ eagles over bears
    bengals over chargers

Figured I would bring this thread back. Look at who picked the Saints for the playoffs!

(O.K., I picked Carolina and Miami too)
