Apparently I have killed this thread with an obscure song by Tom Chapin (Harry's brother). Let me offer an new challenge in it's stead:

Yall professional like DJ Clue, pullin on my coat tail
an why do you think you take a ho to a hotel?
    Hotel everybody, even the mayor
Reach up in tha sky for tha hozone laya
Come on playa once a ho always
And hos never close they open like hallways

    Ho - Ludacris

I hate myself for knowing that.

She used the poison in his tea and kissed him goodbye
That's my kinda story. It's no fun 'til someone dies

I call technical foul. The song is "You'se a Ho". And it's one of my favourites. :D

    Don't matter anymore.

Then there was an old man
    kind and wise with age
And he read me just like a book
and he never missed a page

And I loved him like my father
And I loved him like my friend
And I knew his time could shortly come
but I did not know just when

"The Return of the Grievous Angel," by Gram Parsons.

It's actually "In My Hour Of Darkness," but as soon as I saw your name, I knew you were responding to my lyrics.

Have you read the "20,000 Roads" bio? I picked up the old Ben Fong-Torres bio a couple years back and read it in about three days, but I haven't picked up 20,000 Roads.

    And I've tried to understand
I've tried to understand your abuse
    But you've got no excuse
And there's no use in lovin'
    Anyone who hates themself
