    To the threadstarter, if this was indeed a real question and not a hoax thread:

    It's 2013. If you want to work in sports, quit putting your gender in front of your work. It's not cute or funny, it's really lame. 'The girl aspect'? Don't say that again. Seriously.

    The difference to me is that a catchy blog title can help people find it easier online because you can use the catchy name in the URL. Plus, some blogs have multiple contributors, so the name helps there, too.

    Of course, some of ours stay simple, like tulsaworld.com/oublog or tulsaworld.com/johnehoover.
