    The legislature does not want decisions on land development based on the increase in sea levels that have been observed to have accelerating the past 30+ years. Instead they are putting the science they want onto law. Can't inconvenience the developers, you know.

    Saw that last week. Maybe developers can someday promote the Outer Banks underwater park?

    Actually, observed sea level rise has been decelerating over the past 30+ years.
