The woman who played a teenage boy on Megan Meier's myspace was indicted mainly for breaking the rules of myspace today. Meier's mom said it was bitter sweet on MSNBC. I think it's an interesting resolve so many months after the story had quieted down.

I thought for sure this was another "mom/teacher sleeping with teen" type thing.

  3. Time to consolidate the three thread, I think.

I forgot we had a thread on journalism only. I wouldn't think to look over there for the story. :)

I was just about to post this.

She won't get jail time, unfortunately. This is one of those situations when you hope there is a higher power somewhere who will make her pay someday.

Ya know, I don't mind if I am posting about housing bailouts, and someone posts "Oh yeah, just go fuck a teacher". It's been funny all 6,982 times it's been used.

But please don't start me in the "Person X has no idea why.....". It's *so* 'Anything Goes board'.

I am actually getting pms now from people I've never "met" with links to new female teacher cases.

I think its really touched the heartstrings of SportsJournalists.com Nation.
