Your choice. Just like mine is mine. I have my ethical reasons that began it all. Now I also know I am healthier (despite Luggy's perception that I am a pasty, vitamin-cattle steroid-deficient ghost of a human being). It's one of those things I know I couldn't change the world on, even if I was inclined to. So I just live my life in a way that allows me to look myself in the mirror and allow others to do the same. I'll check in with you again on the day of reckoning. :)

I don't want people to walk past my coffin and say, "Wow, he looks great."

I want them to walk past and say, "Yea, he partied." [/Bill Engvall]

You just quoted the poor man's Jeff Foxworthy?

    For shame, Scorpio. For shame.

Foxworthy is the bigger name, but that doesn't mean he's the better comic.

No, it does not. They both suck donkey hog equally.

Ron White, on the other hand, is funny as hell.

One thing is certain. All three are far better than Larry the Cable Guy.

This is why I love this place. What could have been an ugly battle between the vegetarians and the meat eaters turns into a discussion of the merits of blue-collar comics.

I was a vegetarian for about four years -- no fish or chicken (can't eat it anyway) or anything else dead.

I had little trouble giving up meat, but that certainly didn't guarantee that I ate any healthier. In fact, I might have gained a little weight because I was consuming so much more pasta, rice and other carbs.

I never considered going vegan. Pizza without cheese ain't pizza, regardless of what else is on top.

I ate at a barbecue place in Tacoma this summer with a dish called the "Moo, Cluck and Oink."

    It was grrrreeeat.
