Appreciate the words, and I apologize for killing the buzz. Was just digesting the news and was generally pissed off at the world.
She's not in the biz, but get this. After 20 years, I had to fight, as in pay a lawyer, to get a year of severance.
She'd been at her place for 13 months (as an exec assistant at a financial firm, not a VP or anything) and was voluntarily given 6 months.
Newspapers, as businesses, blow.
