    ACK!!!!!!!! That is all, Killick.

Apparently, my battery was sooooooo dead that they couldn't even hook the car up to the computer to see what else might be wrong. Hopefully that's all it is.

If it's just a dead battery, I'll consider myself mostly lucky. Car's almost 10, and I've never replaced it. If it's more than that, it will suck giant donkey balls b/c I'll have to run the credit card I just busted my ass to pay off back up.

My guess -- your alternator died and took the battery with it.

At least you paid off the credit card. Don't think I'll ever do that.

No, the alternator died about four years ago. It's been replaced. This was just the battery.

Pall, I paid off one credit card. I have a couple more than that :p

Yes, although I'm also having the fuel injection system cleaned b/c the car needs to pass its emission test at the end of the month.

may i ask why you took your car to a dealership? is it a ferrari?

Because I don't know which mechanics in town are trustworthy, plus there was a recall on it anyway.
