    Well, a gas smell.

I spilled some gasoline from a small can in the back of my van on Sunday. Now, it stinks to high hell.

How do I get rid of this stink so I can safely drive my kids around?

Go through the carwash with the windows down.

But whatever you do, don't light a match.

Go to the grocery store and get a couple of raw chickens.

Leave them in the van for three or four hot days with the windows rolled up.

Then, you won't notice the gas smell.

If that doesn't work, try half a pound of uncooked shrimp in the shell with the heads on.

(Febreeze, baking soda in a bowl or Lysol)

    Thanks SixToe

    I'll try baking soda.

How much gas did you spill? Usually, if it's just a few drops or whatever, I can just ride around with the windows down and it abates.

    Not sure novelist.

It happened Sunday. It's Tuesday. And it still smells.

It sure didn't seem like much.

The air flow cap on the rear of the can was closed, but cross threaded and some leaked out the ass end of the can while breaking.

Ah, just enjoy it. Who needs that many brain cells, anyway?
