    Team success is irrelevant to the Cy Young, so that shouldn't even be a part of it.

    Sure, it suggests that Kemp had help in the wins and losses, but it's not like Kershaw helped him at the plate.

    Braun's biggest negative is that he has Prince Fielder backing him up, the kind of offensive help Kemp did not have this season.

    (That said, I'd still go with Braun).
