My Moral Dilema at McDonalds

Ordered a medium Diet Coke at counter. It was self serve so I took my cup to the fountain I wanted a regular Coke.

Should I have gone back and advised the clerk of my drink change?

 

Yes. Because the clerk must have made some bad choices in life to be working at McDonald's, and as a society we need to discourage that. So annoying them with something trivial is doing your civic duty.

I wonder how many people do that.

Sort of like telling the folks at Nielsen that you watch PBS, but you're really watching Behind the Music and E! True Hollywood Story.

When you go back up to ask about the drink change, ask them to make you a McGangbang to go.

Slappy - The Hummer was so 2003. My Hybrid Tahoe is very parkable.

Marge looks at Lisa's sad face: Um, yes, I ate two grapes. Please charge me for them.

Store clerk: Two grapes? Who cares?

Marge: I know, but please charge me something for them?

Clerk grabs microphone: Hey Charlie. Yeah, I need a price check on two grapes. You heard me Charlie, two measly stinking grapes.

 

It's true.

Someone explained this to me once. They're very precise in how they "handle" their Coke. Seriously.

 

I think it has something to do with their water/syrup combo and how much and when the carbonation is introduced. They also make a shockingly good sweet tea.
