Woman can't get her McNuggets, or her money back. 9-1-1 hilarity ensues.

Tell you what, this reporter's thorough. The woman was offered a McDouble instead of her money back when the Mickey D's ran out of McNuggets because the cashier said all sales are final. (Don't understand that one, but whatever.) Anyway, here's the last two lines of the story:

The best lines in journalism often come at the end of stories like these.

Skimming over Google, it appears 911 misuse carries penalties of five days in jail and a $2500 fine. Sounds about right (suspend the jail time, but let her pay up).

Get the feeling she's often got issues with the service industry?

You don't mess with McnNuggets. I can't think of a better use of law enforcement time and energy.

Now if it were a McRib, it'd be justifiable homicide.

  7. You know, she obviously shouldn't have called 911. But the cashier would not give her money back? Even though the item she came for wasn't available? That's some bad customer service right there.

On a junior high class trip, a large kid in our class ordered a 20-piece (do they even have those anymore or did the FDA finally step in?). He ate all of them, and then realized he'd actually only devoured 19. He went up to the counter to complain and they believed him, despite the fact the evidence was residing in his gut. So they gave him another 20-piece. Which he then finished in about 5 minutes.

    That just made me sick.

I'm a pretty big guy, but no way can I eat a 20-piece in one sitting.

39 McNuggets in one sitting? Not bad.

A 20-piece is easily consumable in five minutes.

    39-piece? Maybe 15 minutes.
