We do the same thing. It's the nice thing to do, but it's also a smart strategic move because it gives you credibility when something bad happens because you're not immediately written off as one of the parents who complains about everything...

Same reason you spelled "you" with an r?

Ha. Actually got the form e-mail back saying they would look into it and then a follow up of what their investigation turned up which my daughter corroborated as best a 6 year old can.

As for the "Kudos" capitalization I guess that is a hangover from corporate culture brainwashing :) A company I worked at a long time talked about internal kudos all the time and even though a bit cheesy, I find it is a good practice at my new work and in life in general. Everyone likes the good stuff recognized.

Because they're a delicious snack that deserves recognition?

(Do they even make Kudos anymore?)

I got a note from a business associate the other day thanking me for
something that I did for them but their spell check failed as they wrote
"cooties to you" Because rest of note was friendly I assume or at least hope
they meant "kudos". Also noted that "cooties" was not capitalized.

Was your cootie booster shot up to date? Or were your fingers crossed, at least?
