My Leap Year Baby

Just had to do some bragging that my son was born on Leap Day. Six pounds, six ounces, healthy, with hands like Julius Erving and enough hair for a pompadour. I'd had a healthy respect for my wife throughout the pregnancy, but the delivery was truly her finest moment.

OK, I'm done bragging. Thanks for indulging me.

We won't put the kid through the torture of waiting until March 1 every year. That's just cruel.

 

Congrats! Does this mean he'll only get presents every four years?

 

So his birthday will be celebrated on Feb. 28? That's probably what I would do, too. February is the month of kings.
