Here's hoping you can go a fourth and a fifth day without a delicious, tar-filled, cancer stick...

Go man go. Quit two years ago after thirty years plus. Lucky I can still breathe, but went snowshoeing for two hours the other day, and I can run for an hour.

In six months you'll be amazed how much can come back.

You do yourself a huge favour every day you go without smoking. BRAVO! Just so you know, it does take seven years to return to the fully healthy state of a non-smoker. I passed that mark on Aug. 14, 2006.

    How's that work?

Is it seven years no matter how long you smoke? Or is it seven years if you smoke for at least "X" amount of years? And what about someone who smoked for 30-40 years? Can he/she return to the fully healthy state in seven years?

    Can I ask a question?

I know many intelligent people. Some of them embrace causes such as global warming, and are very passionate about it. Yet, those are most of the friends I have who smoke. Not to single anyone out, but why in the hell would liberals, who consider themselves more educated than other people, who are environmentally conscious, with all the information available, do something really stupid like, you know, smoke?
