    Rick,
Does your whole family just root, root, root for the home team? <crossthread>

If they don't win it's a shame we'll write around it.

My granny/facebook issues are well-documented here.

All I can say is clean up your language!

Nah, nobody else was smart enough to go into journalism. They are all wasting their time as nurses and engineering students. Idiots.

My mom is on Facebook. She's in her 60s. She's getting messages from people she went to high school with. It's completely creeped her out -- she wants to delete her account but can't quite figure out how to do it.

I'm on FB, along with a few adult cousins, and a boatload of friends, old high school mates, and a few basketcases.

My sister and her hubby are the lone holdouts in my family's generation to go near social media.

A guy I worked with is on Facebook constantly. He's 68.

    Creepy.

My boss's wife asked to be my FB friend. Then my boss asked to be my FB friend. I've ignored both requests. I've heard you can accept a friend but make it so they can't see your current updates, but I wouldn't want my boss seeing previous updates. Nor his wife, for that matter.
