My first job interview tomorrow morning....

    This is a very important piece of advice. It shows you have a true interest in the product and that you want to continue to think about the paper after you leave the interview.

    If you've already bought the last week's worth of papers, ask for stuff from two weeks ago. Ask for copies of their special sections. Ask to see the paper from That Day Big News Broke. Ask to see their football tab proofs in progress. Get a feel for what they're up to.

    People like to brag about their work. Give them that chance.
