I actually like St. Joe's chances. They beat Xavier twice, Temple and Villanova (by 22 points). And they actually beat a team by 12 that beat VaTech -- Penn State.

I'm with you on Ohio State, though.

Ok, we'll let the Hawks stay then. But unless Jim Jackson is coming back, Ohio State is out.

I don't have a dog in the fight, but Ohio State beat:
    Syracuse, Purdue, Michigan State, Florida.

Virginia Tech beat: Miami, Florida State, Maryland twice.

I'd say the first list is more impressive. Then again, if Hokies and Buckeyes tangled on a court in say, Lexington, I'm thinking I'd take VA Tech. Too bad it doesn't always work that way.

The Hokies would drum Ohio State.

Or better yet, a court in Dayton. Why do they make the poor small-conference teams play in the bitch game. We'd all have more fun if the last two bubble teams had to do it for the rights to a 12 seed.

The Committee, as an historial entity, loves St. Joe's. They show up, when they're included. Look for them to be an innie.

They'd physically beat the crap out of them.
