Can we really call Spector a celebrity?

Can buckweaver be erecting a Wall Of facts against people who haven't heard of Phil Spector? Sure Sound(s) that way. Green_Lantern hasn't heard of dude? He's a rebel, I guess.

No argument from me. I say, let it be . . . (much more fun to look at the thread with Padma) naked.

    Brill Building.

(Seriously, Lantern . . . your power ring should not be able to affect cleanup when you wet yourself after reading what Spector was all about:

I've heard of Spector, but I don't consider record producers to be big-time celebrities.

Probably the best-known and most influential record producer in history. He is by any reasonable standard a celebrity.

He's also a crazy son of a bitch who likes to threaten people with guns.

Can't believe it took two tries to convict him.

I'd say Barry Gordy could give him a run for his money.

  10. Or Quincy Jones.

Yeah California! One for you. ONE.

Berry Gordy's definitely in the conversation. Quincy Jones, maybe the celebrity part. Not close on talent and influence, though.

    Or George Martin.
