    Putting them up can make a big difference. Mine were hurting, but propping them up made them feel much better.

    Spend some serious coin on shoes and/or boots. I have a 20-year-old pair of Danners I can wear during the winter. They fit like a glove, bunions and all. Wear leather, not plastic. If it ain't leather, all you are doing is stewing your foot. Check out a podiatrist.

    Bad feet lead to bad knees, bad hips and bad spine. This you do not want.

    The best $200 bucks you'll spend. I echo the assessment of Ecco shoes. My one gripe is they can't be resoled. But after 12 months, there is no noticeable wear.

    Take them out for a nice dinner, make them feel loved and adored.
    You probably think spending time with them shows how you feel, but some times they need to hear it, too.
