Well, for most of the show's run, she was the Cubs beat writer, so ...

In fact, I think last week's episode was the first mention of her as a columnist. She must have recently gotten promoted.

She got promoted earlier in the season and there was an entire episode dedicated to it and how Bobby reacted to it, since he's still a beat writer.

She sounds like some of my old co-workers - but hotter.

Barely do a damn thing and get promoted? Sounds like she works for Gannett. Must be one HELL of a writer to only have to write one column a week. Guess she's working in the 1970s.

My guess is she never did online updates when on the Cubs beat.
