    Shoot, was grooving on this today (hoping? daring?) Golf Channel and NBC (what happened to Fox? ) will break this out this weekend. Note to listeners - San Diego is not mentioned in the lyrics, but Sacramento is - if you can believe that.

    Missed that.

    Still, easily in the top 10 "California" songs, California Dreaming, Dock of the Bay, Lights, Ventura Highway, Streets of Bakersfield, Kern River, and then I Left My Heart...

    Not posting a specific song, but stumbled upon this band Wild Pink that is some sort of weird hybrid of shoegaze and Americana and I'm here for it.

    Amazing to think of the plethora of "two-man bands" from Europe in the '80s. WHAM, Go West, Tears for Fears, Wang Chung...maybe Swing Out Sister doesn't count or the Escape Club but they're all part of the same group to me.
