Wonder if the Panthers will trade down if someone really has the Luck jones working? If they play their cards right, they could get a QB of the future and their new Julius Peppers (Bowers or Quinn).

They could swap picks with the Niners and probably get Quinn or Fairley. I'm guessing Bowers would be off the board, but maybe not if everybody makes a run on quarterbacks.

Moddy's team at FanHouse has Gabbert going 15th to the Fishies...

I'm hoping the Skins decide to trade down, pick up another pick and still get a QB in the bottom half of the 1st round.

I just cannot imagine five quarterbacks being taken in the first half of Round 1.

Exactly. And really, is there a huge difference between Locker, Mallett and Gibbert? Of the three, I've seen Mallett play the most. Just highlights of the other two.

No fucking way. Just because McShay said it doesn't make it so. I remember reading one NFL person laughed at such a suggestion.

Oh trust me, I know McShay is full of shit. He wasn't the only one to say that, but it is easy to make that statement when a player doesn't have to then go to the combine, workouts etc...

Then again, people forget how good Locker was a year ago.

Locker's accuracy makes Derek Anderson look like Montana.

    Let's straighten out Jaws.

This guy tossed 68 TDs in his first two NFL seasons. Elway threw 25.

    Most polished since Marino.

Don't get me wrong, if the Niners take him, I'll throw my TV off the balcony. :D

Elway was still considered a better prospect coming out of college. As great a passer as Marino was, he was a freakin' statue, even when he was young. Elway could make all the throws, and scramble 20 yards for a first down. That's where the Luck comparisons come in.
