    TPM has a post up saying initial report is that all injured and killed are military, as are the shooters.

    I've always tuned into CNN as my news network of choice, but Wolf's coverage of this incident and the Balloon Boy have really made me start to consider if I shouldn't tune in to another channel. He's asked some of the most asinine questions and not asked very important ones...

    Wolf: Dollar General!?! What's Dollar General?

    Military now confirming 12 dead, including one of the shooters.

    MSNBC has been doing pretty well on this.

    Except for putting Gen. McCaffrey (who served there) on hold so they could have a LIVE!!!!1! standup with Kay Bailey Hutchinson. ::)

    The captured shooter is an Army major with "an Arabic-sounding name," according to MSNBC.

    I am watching on MSNBC and they have a young reporter (couldn't be more than 23) from Waco doing live reports. Jade Ingus is doing a nice job, so much so that she will be leaving Waco for a bigger market soon once she shops this tape around.


    12 dead now. What a shame/waste.

    12 dead, 31 wounded.

    Two suspects captured, 4 SWAT officers among the wounded, says MSNBC.com.

    Also: 1 shooter dead.

    Updating info on the shooter in custody: "A senior administration official told NBC News analyst Roger Cressey that the suspect who was in custody was an Army major with an Arabic-sounding name. The official said the shootings could have been a criminal matter rather than a terrorism-related attack and that there was no intelligence to suggest a plot against Fort Hood."

    Ft. Hood spokesman said one of the dead is a civilian member of the Fort Hood police.

    ABC News named one shooter as Major Malik Nadal Hasan, with two other suspects in custody.
